Free Download Dressmaker Patterns at Burda

In Kenya, it is not possible to buy apparel patterns over the counter; no retailer stocks them. I have for many years relied on Burda magazines to provide me with up-to-date patterns. It suddenly occurred to me that perhaps Burda’s patterns would be available online. I checked, and, lo and behold! Burda DOES have patterns available as pattern downloads! Quiet but Busy

I will also be a participant at Quilt Surface Design Symposium. It runs from June 9-23, but I will be there only the first week. Granted a tuition scholarship, I will study with Arturo Alonzo Sandoval in his Master Class: Beneath the Surface. I think I’m ready for an in-depth analysis of my artistic motivations and I really hope my work will take off in some new directions when I return to Kenya. Continue reading
